It's Time for a Spring Beak in Vancouver

Spring Break Theatre Festival, March 17 - 23

This Spring Break, visit Granville Island for the 10th annual Spring Break Theatre Festival. Four professional theatre companies specializing in theatre for young audiences will perform at various venues around the Lower Mainland during Spring Break week.

The festival offers a range of great family entertainment for ages 5 to 13. A sample of shows includes: The Three Little Fairy Tales (an improv tale that decides the fate of favourite fairy tale characters), Showdown (a story of three kids: a hockey nut, a whiz kid and the "new kid") and The Emperor's New Threads (a witty adaptation of Han Christian Andersen's classic fable). Spring Splash at the Vancouver Aquarium, March 17 - 25

Spring training is back at the Vancouver Aquarium! Take part in a scavenger hunt for the chance to win great prizes, enjoy live entertainment and meet the Aquarium's mascot, Bee Bop Beluga. Touch pools will also be available most days so kids can roll up their sleeves and touch sea cucumbers and anemones.
