Medovoy, Editor (Montreal at night, pictured above) On a recent visit to Montreal, we stayed in the 180-room Best Western Hotel Europa and found it to be a good choice in terms of comfort, location, and value. We were especially pleased by the great location right in Montreal's exciting downtown area, being only a block from the fascinating Underground City, with shopping and restaurants, and two blocks from Montreal's Metro system, which can whisk you around town very quickly in real comfort. The Hotel Europa, located at 1240 Drummond Street, is also near the major Sainte-Catherine Street shopping area and the cafes of Crescent Street. The hotel features high-speed wireless Internet, in-room coffee, television with pay-TV, voice mail, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Several rooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi. There are three restaurants on the premises, including Houston's American Steakhouse, Cities d'Asie Far East Cuisine, and Café Oasis Breakfast.
