'Perfect Day' Package Spotlights New Santa Cruz Inn

Guests who reserve the Perfect Day in Santa Cruz package at the town’s brand-new West Cliff Inn (opening June 15, 2007) can enjoy the "Perfect Day in Santa Cruz" package.

The package includes one night for two people, a $50 dining certificate to La Posta (traditional-meets-modern Italian Cuisine, housed in the historic 1910 Post Office building), a two-hour surfing lesson for one guest (additional lessons may be added for $50 per person), complimentary tasting passes to Beauregard Vineyards Tasting Room on the Wharf, featuring estate-grown, hand-crafted wines, Four Sisters Inns renowned breakfast buffet, and afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres at the inn.

The Perfect Day in Santa Cruz is valid Sunday through Thursday, June 17 through Oct. 31, 2007. Cost of the package depends upon the room selected, based on double occupancy:

· $325, Superior King Guest Room (package value: $405)

La Posta restaurant is closed on Mondays; guests are advised to take this into consideration when making plans. Perched on a bluff across from the beach and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the West Cliff Inn is less than a mile from downtown shops, restaurants and attractions, and on the same street as the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum, housed in an historic lighthouse.

Built as a private home in 1877, the stately, three-story Italianate Victorian with its spacious, wraparound porch is being completely renovated. The West Cliff Inn will offer nine well-appointed guest rooms, each with a fireplace, king bed, marble tile bathroom, and most with jetted spa tubs. One second-floor room will have a private, outdoor jetted hot tub; two spacious top-floor suites will have separate sitting areas and oversized bathrooms.
